Thanks for visiting this site and for your interest in my work as a Psychotherapist in downtown Toronto. In private practice, I work with individuals and couples facing life's challenges. I am also Executive Director of the Ontario Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and previously I supervised several LGBTQ programs at Central Toronto Youth Services. I am a Clinical Member of the Ontario Society of Psychotherapists and the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy.
Like many people these days, I bring a unique and blended background to my work as a therapist--driven from my personal passion to support the growth and development of others. Primarily, I am a psychotherapist for individuals and couples. In addition, for many years I have been providing organizational and executive development support. The common thread throughout my work experiences has always been the fundamental element of transformation and change, pursued on personal, cultural, and interpersonal levels.
Prior to my career as a therapist, I created programs and public outreach campaigns for start-ups, large corporations, and global consulting firms. I was Vice President of Corporate Communications for Politics.com. I was also a Senior Account Executive at Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide and created programs for companies like Pfizer, AOL, GE, and Lockheed Martin. In addition, I spent some time working in the political arena. All of these experiences informed my deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities of working in high-pressure and quick changing environments.
I hold a Master’s in Counselling and Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Penn State University. I also spent two years at Georgetown University earning three professional certifications in Executive Coaching, Group Facilitation, and Transformational Leadership. I am currently working on a Ph.D. in Depth Psychotherapy.
My passions are pure and simple. I love the art of the possible. My work encourages others to get in touch with the depths of their psyche and imagination. My purpose lies in facilitating and supporting healing, transformation, and deeper understanding—for individuals, couples, leaders, and communities.
I am also proud to support the Tibetan Children's Village. :)
